 rtners\, and stakeholders in the heart of the Ndoto Forest for a landmark 
 restoration action. As part of the Kenya National Tree Planting and Growin
 g Restoration Campaign\, NFCO will lead the planting of 10\,000 indigenous
  trees across the 92\,000-hectare Ndoto Forest. Launched in December 2022\
 , the national campaign seeks to grow 15 billion trees by 2032\, increase 
 Kenya’s tree cover to over 30%\, and restore 5.1 million hectares of deg
 raded land while reducing greenhouse gas emissions and strengthening clima
 te resilience. This planned event represents a collective commitment to pr
 otecting water towers\, conserving biodiversity\, and securing sustainable
  livelihoods for forest-adjacent communities. NFCO calls upon citizens\, i
 nstitutions\, and partners to support the national goal by planting and nu
 rturing 30 to 50 trees annually. Together\, we will take action to grow a 
 greener\, healthier\, and more resilient Kenya—one tree\, one forest\, o
